Sheffield Round Walk
The Sheffield Round Walk is a 15 mile loop around the south-west of the city. This guide by Sheffield local John Barton includes lots of local information about Sheffield's industrial history, geology and wildlife.
Starting and finishing at Hunter's Bar Roundabout, the walk travels through ancient woodland and river valleys, leafy suburbs and vibrant city streets. It passes through Endcliffe Park, up along Porter Brook, down Limb Brook and Ecclesall Woods before carrying on through Graves Park, Meersbrook Park and Nether Edge.
Split into four separate sections, each part contains lots of ideas for places to visit, drink and eat along the route. The easy to follow directions are accompanied by 1:25,000 OS Maps.
