The Isle of Skye: iconic ridges and stunning coastline with a dramatic history.

The 80-mile Skye Trail is described in 7 stages with an optional detour over Bla Bheinn at the bottom of the Cuillin ridge. The route snakes from the northern tip of the island and extends to Broadford in the south, taking in the Trotternish peninsula (regarded as one of the finest ridgewalks in the UK) and the captivating Cuillin (the most Alpine mountains in the UK).

The Skye Trail includes comprehensive information on accomodation along the route, from campsites to luxury lodges. The book contains historical, cultural, geological and language notes to help trekkers make the most of their adventure.
