The Signal is fast, it’s for flat out speed.
It pedals like an XC bike, descends like an enduro bike, and captures the rawness of riding a hardtail on fast, flowy singletrack. Stand up, sprint, and ride it hard on groomed descents at Llandegla and Glentress or take it to the big mountains and get loose.
Every Signal Ti Pinion is built to order. This means the geometry, the tube lengths, the specification, everything is chosen exactly for you, your partner and the journeys you'll take together.
It takes six months from the first conversations we have with you to getting your Signal Ti Pinion for your first ride. In this time we'll talk exactly about what you need and where you're going so that we can design and build your perfect tandem. It's actually a joyful six months, filled with the involvement of having a bike built especially for you, knowing the care and complete obsession over the detail that's going into it. Neil and our team of designers and builders are in touch every step of the way. It's a truly special experience.
That low BB and long wheelbase gives a planted and stable feel through the corners and on high speed descents, the low stack height leaves you with less of that ‘tall’ 29er feeling – you’ll feel like you’re in the bike, not on the bike.
Big wheels roll faster. The 29 in wheels can be paired with 2.2 to 2.6ins tyres with clearance for winter conditions.
The titanium Signal frame is stiff, light and durable. 3Al 2.5V Aeronautical grade titanium tubing softens trail buzz and provides the engaging and lively feel that only Titanium can.
Why Pinion?
The pinion version of the Signal puts all the moving parts of the gear system out of harm’s way and gives an almost silent, well-balanced ride.
It’s a low maintenance dream - you can cover 10,000km before you need to think about an oil change. The range of gears is just enormous (600%) and because of the way the gearbox works you can dump all of them in one go if you get caught out at the bottom of a brutal climb. It’s an amazing experience.
All the weight of the gears are low and central with a pinion gearbox so handling of the Signal Pinion is beautifully balanced and assured.
Bucketloads of clearance for 2.6” tyres gives you the benefits of higher volume tyres without getting clogged up in UK conditions.
Neil has designed the Signal Ti to suit his aggressive riding style. A low bottom bracket makes it corner like its on rails, a spacious reach gives you room to move around on the bike, and the 66/74 head and seat angles give you the confidence to bomb the descents and while still being able to climb like a mountain goat.
Guided internally routed cables for a clean look and silent ride.
Nothing looks quite so good as the famously resilient and durable titanium. Signal Ti’s aeronautical grade titanium tubing absorbs shock to soften the ride without any loss to feel or speed.
We can customise any aspect of our Ti bikes. Come to us with what you want and Neil will make it happen.

It is important to get the right size bike, if the bike fits it will be faster, more comfortable, and easier to handle. You can also take into consideration the standover height to ensure you pick a bike that will be a good fit. If you measure your inside leg and ensure there is a minimum of an inch from the toptube to your crotch this will give you enough seatpost adjustment to find your optimum saddle height.
Generally we recommend: Small: Riders between 5ft 2in and 5ft 7in Medium: Riders between 5ft 6in and 5ft 10in Large: Riders between 5ft 9in and 6ft 2in X-Large: Riders of 6ft 2in +

It is possibly the best all-round trail hardtail that I've ever ridden, I wanted to be out riding on it all the time - that is the mark of a good mountain bike.
You know that rock garden that you’ll happily hop into on your full bounce bike? Well, the Sonder will do it too, only you’ll probably lift the front end higher, get airborne further and completely clear the whole lot...
