Buying a bike can be a big decision. With our fleet of demo bikes you can try before you buy and help make that decision so much easier. 

There are two ways to try out a Sonder bike:

1. Pop into your nearest Alpkit store and take a demo bike out for free for an hour or so. 

2. If you really want to put a bike through its paces on a longer ride, you can hire any of our demo fleet for a day, a weekend or a whole week.

Just give your local store a call so that we can ensure the bike you want to try out is available for you.

If you decide to buy your chosen Sonder we'll give you a discount code to refund the cost of your rental off the final amount. Your Sonder purchase is backed up by our 28 day ride guarantee.

We will take a hold payment on your card for the total value of the bike being demoed. Upon return of the bike, the demo cost and shipping cost will be deducted and the rest of the hold payment will be released.

During the rental period defined above, you are responsible for the bike and will be responsible for any loss or damage incurred during that period. Any cost incurred due to loss or damage will be charged at cost price.

The bike must not be left unattended at any time unless securely locked up and remain in your possession for the duration of the agreement.

You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others, you must wear a helmet while riding the rental bike and ride in a responsible manner, within your ability.

If the bike is returned late, you may be charged a full extra days rental.

Upon return the bike must be clean, in serviceable condition and will be subject to a brief inspection by a qualified mechanic to confirm this.

If you decide to purchase a bike after the rental period, we will deduct the cost of the rental from the price of your new bike.
