Park, Deploy, Rest: Our Redesigned Roof Tents for 2025

By Kenny Stocker

Built in a state-of-the-art factory with rigorous quality testing our new roof tents will turn your car roof into your new favourite campsite.

When we launched our roof tents last year, even we were surprised by how much you loved them. That's why for 2025, we've refined what already worked well to make them even better for your adventures.

Our mission hasn't changed: your roof tent should be the simplest part of your journey. Whether you're a first-time camper or seasoned adventurer, you will get camping gear that just works – every time.

Camping should be simple, at any level.

We believe camping should be about enjoying the outdoors, not wrestling with complicated equipment. That's why we focus on what matters: park your vehicle, deploy your tent, and rest – it really is that simple.

1. Built better by design. We have made our roof tents easier to use and more durable.

Our 2025 roof tents represent a leap forward in smart design and build quality, developed with one of the most trusted names manufacturing equipment for overlanding expeditions.

We've upgraded the parts you might not see but will definitely appreciate. Every element has been thoughtfully re-engineered: from the precision-fit hinges and locking mechanisms to the lightweight, low-profiles of the packed down tents to cut down drag on the road.

The materials are top-class and designed to handle UV exposure, that moist coastal air that shivers your timbers, heavy downpours, and prolonged use over many trips away.

  • Stronger foundations: The Lookout now features a honeycomb aluminium base that won't flex or wobble, giving you a solid night's sleep even on uneven ground.

  • Easier maintenance: Both models now have removable covers, so after that muddy festival weekend or dusty beach trip, you can clean everything properly.

  • Weather-tight design: Improved seals and fixtures mean better protection from rain and wind, plus more secure attachment to your vehicle – no more worrying about that forecast.

2. The best camping moments come after the tent is up. We've made that part even smoother.

We know time at camp is precious. Our 2025 lineup includes thoughtful updates that make your nights more restful - and your setup seamless.

Fast setup has always been a key requirement of our roof tents. If you can't get it up faster than a 4 pole geodesic what's the point? With intuitive operation and smoother gas-assisted struts both models snap up quickly and smoothly.

Inside, you'll find high-density memory foam mattresses across both models for ultimate comfort, weather-sealed ventilation for all-season usability, and smart storage features for keeping your essentials organised.

Whether you're up at 5 for a multi-munro bagging day or sleeping off a long day behind the wheel, rest comes easy when your camp is this well designed. Less time setting up, more time enjoying your surroundings.

  • Smoother opening: Refined pneumatic struts make opening your tent almost effortless – perfect when you arrive at your campsite tired after a long drive.

  • Same great views, reframed: Restyled windows let you enjoy the views while keeping midges and biting insects out. They also let you control your ventilation to stay cool in the heat and manage humidity effectively.

  • Comfort upgrades: Our new mattress with removable, washable cover means you'll sleep as well as you do at home (maybe better with that fresh mountain air!).

3. Adventure grade roof top campouts. Turn your car roof into your favourite campsite.

Our 2025 range continues our mission to build roof tents that go further and last longer - now with adventure grade reliability to help you explore with confidence.

From high-strength materials and water-resistant fabrics to reinforced structural components, we design our roof tents for durability and peace of mind.

Our manufacturing partner has years of expertise in developing, testing and manufacturing roof tents for overland adventures in demanding environments.

Whether you’re in the Scottish Highlands, the Cornish coast, or the French Alps, you’ll have a roof over your head that’s as ready as you are, giving you the confidence to camp anywhere, in any season.

  • Storm-ready structure: Reinforced components and supports mean your tent stays steady even when the wind picks up – no more midnight worries about your shelter.

  • All-weather materials: Our upgraded fabric resists UV damage and repels water more effectively, extending your camping season and the life of your roof tent.

  • Tested to the limits: Both the Nest and Lookout have passed rigorous independent testing for water resistance and structural integrity for camping peace of mind.

Choose your adventure partner

Whether you choose the pop-up Nest hard shell rooftent or the Lookout soft shell roof tent, you're getting a roof tent engineered for real campers by people who love the outdoors as much as you do.

For first-time roof tent owners, either model offers the perfect introduction to elevated camping. No more searching for flat ground, worrying about bugs, or packing away a soaking wet tent in the morning. Camping at it's most convenient.

And no, despite what our April Fool's joke suggested, we haven't made a double-decker version... yet.
