Plus-sized for a smoother ride

Bigger tyres mean a smoother ride. Volution is compatible with Road Plus tyres (such as the WTB Horizon), providing all the benefit and geometry of regular 700c tyres with added comfort, especially when the road ends and the fun begins.

The overall diameter of the Road Plus tyre and rim matches your 700c rim with 28 - 30 mm road tyre, you just need to ensure you have the chainstay clearance to fit wider tyres.

Tubeless ready, lightweight rims

At 23 mm internal width, these rims are built to take a bigger tyre. The rims are wide enough to give the road plus tyres the lateral profile needed to perform at their peak. However, they are also narrow and lightweight enough to run like a dream when marathon and general off-road riding. Run tubeless with some 28 mm tape, a pair of valves, and compatible tyres. Disc only.

Durable, convertible, and serviceable hub

Sealed wheel bearings so they are easily serviceable without the need for specialist tools; adaptable for 100/135 QR or 100/142 bolt-through setups; supplied QR. The axles are double machined so they are first machined, then milled for precision and finally milled again for final perfection. Plus they are made out of aluminium so they are not heavy.

We all ride our own way. Choose between the regular Shimano 11 speed freehub (10s spacer included) and the SRAM XD Driver (permitting a 10 tooth bottom sprocket) to make the Volution your own.
