Alpkit Foundation Needs You!

Our awardstrusteelets people know the outcome of their application and gets the necessary details together to make the award. It takes approximately 8 hours a month to manage our awards and also to look after the Alpkit Foundation email inbox.

We have approximately7trusteemeetings a year held every other month with a separate annual review meeting. Meetings are usually the lastWednesdayof January, March, May, July, September and November at an appropriate pub or venue near Matlock from 6.30pm to 9pm. The annual review is usually held in June.

Work tends to be busiest in the two weeks following each meeting. The position would suit someone with the time available to volunteer for the Alpkit Foundation. Work does not have to be done during regular office hours though some employers allow staff members additional leave to do voluntary work with charities (please check with your employer if you are unsure).

It would be useful for our awardstrusteeto be familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Sharepoint) and have a great eye for detail to successfully administer our awards and maintain awards records.

Thetrusteegroup comprises the four directors of Alpkit, two Alpkit stafftrustees, a CustomerTrusteeand an IndependentTrustee. Alltrusteeroles are voluntary.
