Griffon Half-Zip is a gridded microfleece for lightweight warmth on active days in the outdoors. The low profile, hoodless design sits comfortably under layers in cooler weather or keeps the chill off on summer evenings. It's your go-to fleece for multi-pitch routes, speed on the trails, and all-weather-in-a-day mountain excursions.
- Half-length zip for venting on the move
- Grid fleece traps warmth without weight or bulk
- Zipped chest pocket, perfect for phones and cards
- Made using 29% recycled polyester and Polygiene® treated for reduced washing
"For Griffon Half-Zip we've kept things simple with a deep venting zip and no hood to create a gridded fleece that maximises warmth and breathability without adding weight and bulk. We’ve included as much recycled content as we could without affecting the performance or appearance. The simplest way to reduce your carbon footprint - by up to 25% - is to purchase products with recycled content.
You can comfortably wear it under other layers but it also feels great next to the skin as a warm baselayer. This is when the Polygiene treatment really comes into its own and keeps you fresher for longer. The thumb loops help delay the need for gloves, and the chest pocket means you can keep small essentials at hand."

How It Is Made
Griffon Half-Zip is made using 29% recycled polyester
Polygiene® Stay Fresh
Polygiene® Stay Fresh technology inhibits the growth of pong-causing bacteria, extending your tee’s lifespan and meaning you can wear it more and wash it less. Wearing your tee just one more time before washing can save huge amounts of CO₂ and water over its lifespan.
Where It Is Made
Our products are made in the best factories in the world. We know the factories personally and they have all signed up to our Code of Ethics in our supply chain. This includes the Ethical Trading Initiative base code, fair pay, safe working environments, no child labour, no modern slavery, no bribery or corruption, no materials from conflict zones and humane farming methods.
Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
