Orion 45L
$129.99
Orion 45L is a 45-litre mountaineering backpack that's lightweight and durable, designed for carrying heavy racks through Scottish winters and Alpine multi-day epics.
The stiffened back panel and padded back, hip belt, and shoulder straps provide all the support you need for carrying heavy loads. Load adjusters bring the pack's weight closer to your body on exposed sections.
At 990g, it's light for its strength and capacity, but maintains functionality. Ice axe retainers and a central pickguard keep them secure when not in use. Daisy chain webbing and hip belt loops give extra external capacity. Haul loops make the pack even more manoeuvrable.
Orion 45L is quick to pack and unpack with a drawcord closure. An internal hydration sleeve and port in the main compartment will fit a 3L water bladder. A PFC-free DWR treatment gives extra protection from showers and snowfall.

How It Is Made
PFC-free DWR
We've used a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) on the outer fabric. PFCs are potentially harmful and have been found to build up in the environment.
Gear you'll love for longer
Increasing the lifespan of your kit reduces its environmental impact. We've use 420D ripstop nylon 66 and 840D reinforced nylon for increased durability

Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
