Oxbow is our 2-person inflatable canoe for coastal exploration and multi-day touring on rivers, lakes and canals. Rigid drop-stitch technology means much greater speed and stability than traditional inflatable canoes, with all the portability benefits.

  • 3-chamber drop stitch inflatable hull
  • Adjustable cushioned seats (x2) with backrests and footrests
  • Front and rear splash covers with bungee cargo areas
  • Comes with paddles (x2), seats (x2), pump and repair kit

With a semi-rigid front and rear hull and drop stitch panels, Oxbow cuts through the water like a rigid canoe without the need for a big car or roof rack to transport it. At the front and rear there's space to stow your overnight kit on multi-day voyages, with two bungee cargo areas and even more storage space below the splash guards. There's also handy storage pockets on the back of the seats for quick access items. Open up open water adventure on bay-hopping coastal trips or longer distance paddling routes like the Caledonian canal.

Your canoe comes complete with everything you need to get out on the water. Two adjustable cushioned seats with backrests and footrests give all-day comfort, with two dual-blade paddles that can be adjusted for right or left handed paddlers.

Find adventure on the water.

Sustainability and Product Care

Care and Repair

Store your canoe away from direct sunlight to maximise its lifespan. After use, rinse with fresh water (especially if you have been paddling in the sea) and allow to dry fully before storage. Though any metal fixings are made from marine grade stainless steel, spraying them with WD-40 can help prevent any corrosion that may occur during prolonged storage. Take care to avoid sharp rocks when launching and do not exceed the maximum payload (max. 120kg) or pressure for your craft (max. 15psi).

Safety and Access

We recommend you always wear a personal floatation device (PFD) while out on the water. Take time to assess the water conditions before launching including currents, tides, swell, wind direction, temperature and any hazards below the surface. Practice getting back into your canoe from the water in a controlled environment close to shore before venturing out on longer trips away from dry land. Many inland waterways require a license to paddle so it's worth looking up the access rules for your chosen spot. In the UK, a British Canoe Union membership is good value and offers a combined license for the majority of the navigable rivers, canals and lakes. The above points are all recommendations and we advise you to consult a qualified instructor to make sure you know how to stay safe and maximise you enjoyment while afloat. Happy paddling!

Reducing our carbon footprint

We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.

We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.

End of life

When your partnership with this product is over send it back to us and we will pass it on to someone that needs it through our Continuum Project.
