Sastrugi
$109.99
Our fleeciest fleece, the Sastrugi is a proper winter weight midlayer jacket for the frostiest of days and bone-chilling winter camping.
- Super warm 320gsm Sherpa pile fleece
- No hood for easy layering
- Zipped chest and handwarmer pockets
- 100% recycled and recyclable fabrics
Furrier than an ice age mammal, the Sastrugi’s thick, 100% recycled pile fleece fabric traps a huge amount of insulating air to keep you cosy and warm. Thick, 320gsm fabric means you can also wear it as an outer layer for everything from cold morning walks to chilly evenings around the tent.
The classic pile fleece jacket has been around for over 40 years and is still going strong thanks to its winning combination of warmth, low weight and incredible durability. This durability makes the Sastrugi a fantastic warm layer for situations where insulated jackets might not survive – scraping up cracks, chimneys and awkward top outs.
With high levels of breathability and a hood free design for easy layering; the Sastrugi makes a fantastic midlayer for extreme cold, whether flying down Alpine pistes or battling Cairngorm winds. To keep out the draughts, we’ve added a double layer collar and hem drawcord.
Designers Notes
The Sastrugi is made from 100% recycled polyester throughout which also makes it completely recyclable at the end of its life!

How It Is Made
Recycled Materials
The Sastrugi is made from 100% recycled polyester. This fabric is made using post-consumer recycled content which means it may have started life as a plastic bottle
Recyclable
The Sastrugi uses recycled polyester for both the fleece fabric and the lining. This means it’s fully recyclable at the end of its life.
