In this introductory course, the Thornbridge Coaches will take you through the key skills, looking at: your footwork, body and head position as well as energy management (pumping). The course is designed to build confidence in riders of all abilities.

What to Expect:

The highly experienced coaches will provide you with building blocks you need to develop skills and perfect in your own riding after the course. Your coach will assess your current riding, identify your weaknesses before progressing and adding new skills to your riding toolbox.

What to Bring:

You will need your own mountain bike (in good working order). There will be a few bikes available to hire from Thornbridge Outdoors but these are on a first come first served basis and numbers are limited. Please also bring:
- A helmet and gloves
- Cycling clothing and footwear suited to the conditions
- A puncture repair kit.

Minimum Age: 9 (an accompanying adult must be present for under 16s but doesn't require a ticket)

Please meet at the School of Adventure Meeting Point at least 10 minutes before the course starting time to meet your instructor and collect your bikes.
