Cloud Nine
$329.99
The Cloud Nine is down filled rectangular sleeping bag based on PipeDream ultralight 3-season technology. This wider cut provides a comfier night’s sleep for bunkhouse camping, travelling, or for serial sleeping bag wriggles. It can be zipped together with another to make a luxurious double or unzipped and used like a quilt for additional warmth.
- Rectangular shape provides more sleeping space
- Can be zipped with another Cloud Nine to make a luxurious double sleeping bag
- Lightweight fabrics and 750 fill power goose down keep it super light and incredibly warm
The Cloud Nine uses the same high-quality downfill and lightweight design as our best-selling PipeDream mummy-shaped sleeping bags, but with more room to move at night. The rectangular, hood-free design provides enough space to sleep spread out fully, toes in each corner like a starfish.
400g of high quality 750FP down (RDS-certified) provides lots of insulating loft for its weight – enough for 3-season camping – and a lightweight ripstop nylon fabric keeps the bag’s weight under 800g. With Downtek PFC-Free Water-Repellent down and a PFC-free DWR-treated outer, the Cloud Nine is also more resistant to unavoidable camping dampness.
The Cloud Nine can be unzipped fully into a flat quilt for poking a toe out the corner on warmer nights, or for sharing some warmth around the tent in the evenings. It can also be flipped over and zipped into another Cloud Nine to form a double size sleeping bag. A draw cord and full zip baffle keep out draughts.

Product Care Information
Your sleeping bag doesn’t like to feel cooped up. Storing it uncompressed in the supplied lofting bag or hung up in a cool, dry space will extend its life and help it regain its loft quicker after unpacking.
When out and about we always pack our down sleeping bags into a waterproof drybag to avoid them getting damp and losing their loft. You’re gonna need that loft later.

Sustainability
How It Is Made
PFC-Free
The Cloud Nine uses a PFC-free durable water repellent treatment on its outer fabric and DownTek PFC-Free Water Repellent Down to protect the insulation from moisture. PFCs are potentially harmful chemicals that have been found to build up in the environment.
Ethically Sourced Down
We use only RDS certified down; all our down is audited by a third party to ensure that it comes from birds who are not live-plucked, force-fed, or mistreated. Phew.
Where It Is Made
Our products are made in the best factories in the world. We know the factories personally and they have all signed up to our Code of Ethics in our supply chain. This includes the Ethical Trading Initiative base code, fair pay, safe working environments, no child labour, no modern slavery, no bribery or corruption, no materials from conflict zones and humane farming methods.
All our factories sign up to our Code of Conduct. Find out where we make our product by visiting our Factories of Alpkit factory zone.
Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
End of life
When your partnership with this product is over send it back to us and we will pass it on to someone that needs it through our Continuum Project.
Delivery is free over $99.
