This year, The Depot: Nottingham will be hosting the fourth Battle of Britain. The much anticipated bouldering competition is set to place at The Depot on Saturday 19th October 2013.
The Battle of Britain which in previous years has been held at The Depot: Leeds, is open to all ages and abilities. The qualifying round will involve competitors attempting 30 problems. This round will also decide the final places for the junior and vet categories.
The top finishing seniors will then be put through their paces with a nail-biting, adrenaline filled World Cup format final in the evening. The final is expected to be fiercely competed as the top prize for the Male and Female winner is £500. Finalists will be pulling out all the stops, with displays of remarkable strength and power, and fantastical (at times almost bemusing) technical abilities.
