Hands-on workshop focussed on useful bike trailside repairs
Join us at Alpkit Betws-y-Coed on March 27th for a hands-on workshop with focus on useful bicycle trailside repairs, helping keep you self sufficient on rides.
We're tying it all together with a number of incredibly useful hacks and fixes. Broken derailleur, snapped brake lever, gear cable about to make a swift exit... we'll be sharing solutions for all these scenarios and more.
From years of experience breaking our own bikes in the middle of nowhere, and helping others in the same situation, we've built up a collection of fixes we believe reflect the most common (and irritating) mechanical mishaps.
Over a two hour workshop there'll be a number of practical demos, giving you the chance to try out the tools and repairs just as you'd need to out there... but with shelter, drinks and biscuits to assist with the learning experience!
The workshop will run from 6:30 - 8:30pm at our Betws-y-Coed store. Feel free to bring your own bike and any tools you own. We'll also have tools for you to borrow.
