Family bonfire night walk up Tod Crag to watch the fireworks
Join us at Alpkit Ambleside on November 5th for a family friendly Bonfire Night walk up Tod Crag, a lovely spot to watch the local fireworks displays.
Fancy doing a family activity that’s bit different this bonfire night?
An event for the whole family: kids, grans and alpacas welcome! Spend the evening watching the local firework displays from a top of Tod Crag. Stay warm with hot chocolate and hot dogs. And stick your teeth together with bonfire toffee.
We will set off walking from the shop at 6pm. In total it’s a 3km walk with 170m of elevation, this may take up to an hour to get to the top. Picnic blanket, warm clothes, hats and gloves, illumination, sparklers are optional but recommended.
Although this is a free event, we advise that you book tickets so that we can gage how many people will be coming and how many hot dogs we need to buy.
