Description

PipeDream 600 is an ultralight, 4-season down sleeping bag with a class-leading warmth-to-weight ratio. Rated to a -12˚C sleep limit, it's designed for winter use in Britain, or for summer alpine conditions. It's the perfect bag for sub-zero backpacking and mountain camping. PipeDream 600 weighs just 1,085g and compresses to a tiny 21cm x 18cm pack size. We've used high quality 750 fill power DownTek™ hydrophobic down which is 100% Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified for improved performance in damp conditions. *Our recommended usable limit of the bag. The majority of our customers will find this to be the tipping point between a comfortable and restless night's sleep.

**The Extreme rating is the temperature at which the average woman can remain for six hours without risk of death from hypothermia - but can still sustain cold injuries - under EN13537 conditions. We do not recommend using this bag in these weather conditions, or making your purchasing decision based on this value. This rating is for the PipeDream 600 Regular. PipeDream 600 Long contains the same quantity of down as Pipedream 600 Regular. As a result, Pipedream 600 Long may be up to two degrees cooler than the PipeDream 600 Regular.

Sustainability & Care

Environmental impact

PFC-free

PipeDream 600 uses DownTek™ PFC-free Water Repellent down and a PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) on its outer fabric. PFCs are potentially harmful and have been found to build up in the environment.

Responsible Down Standard

PipeDream 600 uses 100% RDS certified down. All our down is audited by a third party to ensure that it comes from birds who are not live-plucked, force-fed, or mistreated.

Care instructions

Storage: store your sleeping bag uncompressed in a cool, dry place. This will extend its life and allow it to regain its loft quicker after unpacking.

Liners: using a sleeping bag liner protects your down from skin oils and other contaminants that reduce loft, allowing you to wash your bag less frequently.
