Morphosis Vest
$109.99
Combining the breathability of fleece with the wind-resistance of softshell, the Morphosis Vest traps the perfect amount of core body heat when you’re just on the edge of a shiver.
- Highly wind resistant yet breathable outer fabric
- Lightweight grid fleece adds insulation and wicks sweat
- Unlined side panels to dump excess heat and moisture
The Morphosis Vest excels on breezy summer summits or hard winter trail runs – situations where a full windproof would be too sweaty and an extra fleece too warm. The outer fabric is highly wind resistant and treated with an environmentally friendly PFC-free water repellent. This fabric cuts out all but the strongest of winds but is significantly more breathable than a classic windproof. The 6CFM air flow rating stops you getting stuffy and sweaty, making it perfect for high effort activities.
Made for moving in, the Morphosis Vest focuses the lightweight grid fleece around your core, leaving your under-arms and sides uninsulated. This keeps your core warm without losing wind protection, allowing you dump excess heat and moisture (aka sweat vapour – tasty!) when your heart rate is high. The full-length zip gives you extra venting capability, should you need it.
The vest’s slim fit means it can be worn straight over your base layer or over a thin fleece. This boosts your existing layers without having to reach for a full extra layer that would restrict your mobility. With a lightweight construction, the Morphosis Vest rolls up to around the size of a can of beans, fitting into small daypacks or roomier cycling jersey pockets.
Designers Notes
The Morphosis fabric combination just works so well at regulating temperature that it is rarely over-powered. But for those situations when the sleeves are just that little bit too much the vest version fits the bill perfectly.

Sustainability and Product Care
Product Care Information
Caring For Your DWR
Your Morphosis Vest uses a water repellent treatment (DWR) to fend off light showers. To keep your DWR in top condition, wash your vest regularly in pure soap or a specialist cleaner. You may also need to refresh the treatment about once or twice a year (depending on usage) using a reproofer. Using a spray-on reproofer maintains your vest’s wicking ability.
Washing Instructions
Wash on a delicate cycle at 30˚C or hand wash with lukewarm water. Use a technical wash product cleaner (like Nikwax Tech Wash or Grangers Performance Wash) or pure soap. DO NOT use detergent, fabric conditioners or softeners. Rinse thoroughly in clean water. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Use a cool iron to reactivate the DWR.

Sustainability
How It Is Made
PFC-Free DWR
The Morphosis uses a completely PFC-free DWR treatment on its outer fabric. PFCs are potentially harmful and have been found to build up in the environment. We don't like the sound of that which is why we're one of the first outdoor brands to eliminate them from our entire range.

Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
